This General Digital Product License applies to eligible non-GPL digital products purchased from Temply Studio unless a product page, included license file, or written agreement provides different terms.
1. License Grant
After successful purchase, Temply Studio grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the purchased product within the scope described on the product page.
2. Ownership
The purchase gives you permission to use the product. It does not transfer ownership of the copyright, source files, design system, code, graphics, brand assets, product name, or other intellectual property.
3. Personal Use
Personal-use products may be used for your own planning, learning, applications, household organization, journaling, crafting, or other non-commercial purposes. You may create reasonable backup copies for your own use.
4. Commercial Use
Commercial use is permitted only where the product page or included license clearly states that a commercial license is included. When commercial use is allowed, you may generally use the product to create an end product for a customer or for your own business, provided the original source files cannot be extracted, copied, or reused by others.
5. Prohibited Uses
Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or give away the original files
- Upload the files to public drives, membership libraries, marketplaces, template platforms, or file-sharing services
- Claim the original design, code, or content as your own
- Sell or distribute substantially unchanged versions of the product
- Convert the files into another format for redistribution
- Use product previews, listing images, or Temply Studio branding as your own marketing assets
- Use the product in unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or infringing content
- Use one purchase for multiple unrelated users, businesses, clients, or organizations unless the license permits it
6. Templates and Editable Files
Editing colors, fonts, text, layout, or images does not by itself create ownership of the original template. A modified template may not be resold as a template, source file, editable file, or downloadable asset unless a specific resale or private-label license is included.
7. Client Work
If a commercial license permits client work, you may use the product to create a completed end product for one client at a time. The client may receive the completed deliverable but not the reusable source template unless the product license specifically allows source-file transfer.
8. Print-on-Demand and Marketplace Use
Print-on-demand, marketplace, KDP, Etsy, or similar commercial use is allowed only when explicitly stated. Customers are responsible for reviewing the rules of the third-party platform and ensuring that the final work has sufficient original contribution.
9. Fonts, Photos, and Third-Party Assets
Some products may demonstrate fonts, photos, icons, mockups, or other third-party resources that are not included in the purchase. Their use may require a separate license from the original provider. Product descriptions and included instructions should be reviewed carefully.
10. WordPress GPL Products
WordPress themes and plugins distributed under the GNU General Public License are governed by the separate GPL License Terms. Service elements such as support, updates, download access, and account benefits may have separate conditions.
11. License Violations
Unauthorized distribution, resale, sharing, or misuse may result in termination of access, suspension of the customer account, removal requests sent to marketplaces or hosting providers, and other remedies available under applicable law.
12. Product-Specific Terms
If a product page or included license conflicts with this general policy, the more specific product license controls for that product.
